for Children
We use creative activities to help express and identify difficult feelings. Together we explore what is triggering the uncomfortable feelings and resultant behaviours. Through this process better ways are found to enable the child to find ways to self regulate and cope with the ups and downs of life building resilience along the way. for Parents We come together on neutral ground to facilitate an open conversation. By doing this we identify sources of tension and find solutions to break cycles in order to reconnect, readjust and rebalance. for Families We come together as a family in a session which gives everyone space and time to talk through any issues or concerns. Having an unbiased, professional outsider to guide and support provides an opportunity to explore aspects of family life that may be tricky to talk about. for Individuals One on one sessions work using open dialogue in a safe space to understand sources of difficulty and find solutions to take actions to move forward. Techniques used: Talking therapy | Providing the opportunity to explore thoughts and feelings. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy | Helping to focus on solutions to unlock potential, focus on achievements, stress management and goal setting. Mindfulness | Encouraging connection to the joy of the present moment using tried and tested techniques. RULER | Learning ways to develop emotional intelligence in order to understand ourselves better and become our own emotional detective. |
