Over the past few years, I have seen an increasing need for guidance from the parents I meet in my counselling practice and in schools on how to support their children's emotional wellbeing and help develop emotional resilience.
With their needs as my guide, I have created a four-part parenting course called...
Growing Strong Happy Families.
A four-part parenting course. Are you feeling the need to refresh your parenting practice? Or are you looking for an opportunity to find ways to parent with more confidence, closer connection, and clearer intent?
If so, this four-part interactive parenting course with Lulu Luckock will help you do that.
Sharing tips, and advice using real-life examples from case studies, Lulu draws from her wealth of experience as a teacher, social and emotional learning education consultant, and counsellor to guide parents through this thought-provoking and inspiring course. Lulu advises the participants on how to raise children with robust emotional resilience who are ready to take on and embrace all that the world has to offer. Giving down-to-earth, practical, and easy-to-implement guidance, eachsession builds on the other. The specific outcome isto bring about healthy behavioural change to support the long-termhappiness and well-being of everyone in the family.
The four sessions explore the past to look to the future to enable the present. Some recent feedback from parents following the onsite in-school delivery of the course facilitated by the school.
"Can’t think of anything that was missing from the course, it was comprehensive inspiring, and immensely valuable." "Amazing course! Back to the basic and fundamental aspects of being human and how to focus on this for our children." "Thank you, Lulu this was, one of the most valuable courses I’ve ever been on and I've been on many!"
Parent Talks
The parent and teacher talks each last an hour and a half and cost £400 each.
Feelings Matter. Growing Emotionally Intelligent and Mentally Resilient Families- prevention is better than cure.
So much has changed in our society in the last 30 years and parenting has become increasingly complicated.
With today's challenges to children’s mental health that we would not have dreamt about in our childhoods, the focus of this talk is to help parents take a step back to consider how they use their emotional intelligence to develop their children's emotional resilience.
There is no health without mental health. If a child leaves school with straight A's but can't regulate their emotions, and suffers from crippling anxiety they will struggle to find their place in the world as an adult.
Like an update on a phone, this talk will ask you to pull the plug out for an hour to hear about ways you can reset and reconsider your current parent practice so that you can prepare your children for life's challenges.
Growing Strong Happy Families.

This talk discusses key qualities needed to keep families grounded, sane, and on track no matter what the world throws at them.
As a family counsellor Lulu uses case studies to highlight and illustrate the problems she encounters that often prevent families from living happily together.
This talk encourages parents to step back to look forward and seize the opportunity to reevaluate what's going well in their parenting practice and what they might choose to do differently. Throughout the talk, Lulu highlights key components that she suggests will help you remain nurturing, responsive, and supportive as parents while at the same time holding firm limits that enable children to grow up feeling secure knowing that you are in charge.

"I was reminded this evening that's its ok to be human and it's important to share my humanity with my family!" "The feedback from the parents was very positive. They especially liked all the tips. It was very clear and well explained. Thank you Lulu”, The Knowledge Society, Knightsbridge School.

"Thanks so much for this evening's session. It really struck a cord with me about how I deal with my emotions and what I display to my children. A lot to take forward and learn from."
A talk for teachers.
Your Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Life as a teacher can be overwhelming and challenging. With full on days, time is often in short supply and teachers can find themselves stretched and out of balance. A teacher recently described her days as equal to running a marathon on a daily basis.
This talk looks at what can be done within the school community to bring everyone together in a supportive and cohesive way. We talk about how everyone wants to feel at school and the ways to make this happen even on the tough days. Solving problems as a TEAM means that together everyone achieves more.
The emotional wellbeing of teachers is vital to the happiness of the whole school community and the smooth running of the school as a whole. Engagement from senior leadership to support the emotional wellbeing of teachers is seen to be a really healthy and proactive approach to a problem that is being felt by schools across the country.
This talk is delivered in person to teachers and can be done in a twilight session or as an INSET. It lasts for an hour.
